I found several probes into my cgi-bin directory by checking my access log (not really
unusual) but something caught my eye. I don't use perl with my system and I found a
formmail.log which contained a number of entries. See below:

Wed Oct 2 10:42:57 2002, 208.187.9.248,

It appears that these were just a fishing expedition but this could represent a
significent way for spammers to run mail through your or my system. Can anyone comment
why I would have a formmail.log when I don't use formmail.pl????
