Hi Tom, While it sounds like Sambar is caching them, I'd try and rule out other things as well.
Go to your Network Properties, select your connection, pick TCP/IP and select properties, now go to the hmmm... now that I'm looking for it, I can't find it! There's a page somewhere about using proxies and such to connect to the internet. Make sure you select the checkbox for "Don't use proxy for local addresses" (or something like that). This will make sure you aren't going out to your ISP and using their caching proxy server. If that doesn't clear things up, go to Sambar admin page and set the cache to zero (to turn it off).
