Yeah, I changed the file name and it temporarily fixed the problem.
Because whatever is caching it checks the filename and doesn't realize
that index.htm and index.html is the same file. Like I said a temporary
fix.

Ok, I shut of Sambar's cache, did a restart on the server, still
nothing. Completely shut off my web browsers caching ability also.
Still nothing.

Here's the actual address if somebody wants to give it a try.
http://kingtom.zapto.org or http://kingtom.zapto.org/index.html
That shows the out of date version, but has the new file. And
http://kingtom.zapto.org/new%20index.html. That is a copy of the same
file thats being used for index.html. But it displays properly.

Also worth noting is that my internet service is unstable at the moment,
so the page may be down or load extremely slow due to 3/4 of packets
dieing at times.

And for those shopping for an ISP, I have InsightBB. They are working
on the problem. But it took quite a while to get them to admit that
something was wrong. And there higher level tech support 'forgets' to
call me all the time.

Hi Tom,

While it sounds like Sambar is caching them, I'd try and rule out
other things as well.

Go to your Network Properties, select your connection, pick TCP/IP and
select properties, now go to the hmmm... now that I'm looking for it,
I can't find it! There's a page somewhere about using proxies and
such to connect to the internet. Make sure you select the checkbox
for "Don't use proxy for local addresses" (or something like that).

This will make sure you aren't going out to your ISP and using their
caching proxy server.

If that doesn't clear things up, go to Sambar admin page and set the
cache to zero (to turn it off).
