Do you have proxy server enabled? Do you need it.. If not shut it off. If so, restrict ip access in security.ini to it.. You will find a section for it.
Also if you know that they are using your smtp port to deliver messages and not a proxy port as noted above and..... you do not need access to the smtp port outside your network then restrict access to smtp from the security.ini as well..
