Are HTML formatted e-mail messages a danger to your members?
I think so, since once in your members computer, they can do
anything which a web page can do. Think about it. We are all
complaining about spam and going nuts trying to minimize this
scourge to e-mail. In the meantime, the spammers are having
a blast thinking up new ways to beat our anti-spam methods.
But more importantly, the hackers and whackers are doing their
worst to infect, damage and destroy your members computers.

I have observed that more and more spammers are using HTML
formatted messages and you can kill this e-mail simply by
using a "global routing rule" which says to "delete" mail
in the "headers/body" which "contains" "Content-Type: text/html"

This simple fix will reduce the amount of spam coming into
your system and will stop the hackers in their tracks from
doing their damage. It will however prevent any mailer from
sending HTML messages, even if they are legit. The choice is
yours. Comments, anyone???
