hello all,
my typical system instalation for the server is:

SO: Windows 2000 Server
WWW;MAIL: Sambar Server
Antivirus protection: Trend-Micro Server Protect (configured to make daily updates of virus pattern files)

all e-mails are tested on file system by SProtect and you can't receive an infected e-mail because the antivirus program move all files (from "mail\spool\") to a protected folder, and SProtect can be configured to send a report by e-mail

if you are using a workstation (with Windows 2000pro or XP pro) you must use Trend-Micro PC-Cillin 2003 with "intelligent update enabled" to get the best performance and updated system

Trend-Micro uses an incremental updating system for the virus pattern files.
