Unfortunately it didn't work here :-(
I did exactly as you suggested, adding a directory to the drive-letter. Didn't work. Made an index.html (was that what you ment?), no luck.

So rather than "Documents Directory = H:/" try "H:/docs/". Also make sure you have the index page set. And when going to the site be sure to include the trailing slash. (I know the trailing slash is necessary for mappings/aliases at least, should be the same for vhosts I believe) So my.domain.com/ Rather than my.domain.com. This also includes if it's a subdirectory the my.domain.com/dir/ must include the trailing slash. If all that still doesn't work specify the full address. http://my.domain.com/index.php or something.

Running Sambar 6b6 on WinXP Pro.
I have tried to setup a virtual domain pointing at a directory on my LAN, with no success at all.
Sambar serves a 404-page :

I have tried to set "Documents Directory = //lan-computer/directory/", and I have tried to connect the directory as drive H, and setting "Documents Directory = H:/".
Wont work :-(
