Importance depends on the need.... my neighbour wants to run SSL on vhosts, a few others want heavy htaccess features, others a better slqauth implementation, I need http performance and no mail features at all... Now, what is more important? I'm positive Tod will do his best to fix as fast as he can. How about reporting specific bugs - in a clear, reproduceable manner - in the Bugtraq?
