DynIP's at http://www.dynips.com/samindex.htm is operated by a veteran Sambar user and has been in operation for nearly a couple of years now and offers a great price to sambar users. For some reason Tod keeps putting off including support for the service.

I didn't see that it was sent the first time. As an after thought to my post on DynamicDNS. If some of the members of this list were willing to setup and run a service like this? And, if the network was tested and reliable? Maybe Tod could offer the service as an incentive to new users to by a Pro License. And with a system like this in place, People who are with ISP's that are blocking port 80 would still be able to run servers and not have to pay the added fee that TZO charges to map to a different port. I think the mail hold could also be done. But that may be something that a little risky. Nobody likes there mail lost. Jim From my first post on this. ######################### I would be willing to run some of the load on my server. I said a while back that I thought this would be a good project for the whole group to get in on. After all, a lot of the ppl who are just starting out are running small servers at home. I just think it would be neat to offer the new users a service that is also run on a Sambar Server. If I knew how to program I would do it. Just for the fun of doing it. But I don't even know where to start... TZO has 5 servers setup for redundancy. I don't see any reason why we can't do the Same thing. This is just my 2cents... ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------- For unsubscription of this list send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with email data containing unsubscribe emailadd sambar > -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For unsubscription of this list send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with email data containing unsubscribe emailadd sambar
