Hello,
I'm trying to connect my canon LiDE 300 scanner to Raspberry pi 3B
(Raspbian wheezy) but so far with not result. I've built from the most
recent master (7b2d2cd0).
Configured as ./configure BACKENDS="pixma" --with-usb , made and
installed.
Sane-find-scanner finds the device, but scanimage -L does not (both
ran as
sudo).
Could anyone please help me find the cause of the problem?
aloha jakub
lide300 is gensys_gl847 (at least for the pre-c++ genesys stuff).
I think this not correct, genesys backend has no support for lide 300.
There's support for lide 100, 110, 120, 200, 210, 220, but not 300. The
300 model is using pixma backend.

oops
you are so right Povilas
my ggrep yielded:
...
backend/genesys_gl847.h: {CIS_CANONLIDE100, 300, 1424, 60, 159, 85,
5136, 255, 410, 275, 203, NULL , 0x0a},
backend/genesys_gl847.h: {CIS_CANONLIDE200, 300, 1424, 240, 636, 340,
5144, 0, 255, 637, 637, 637},
...
and seeing 300 and without further thought i jumped off the ledge
and wrote what i wrote.
jakub sorry if i've confused you.
set the related (if any) pixma backend debug envvars.
