Hi Jakob, I got the same issue than you did.
Don´t get the Canon Lide 300 autodetected on raspbian buster. I compiled backend from source (with pixma and genesys support) "scanimage -V" shows the following result: scanimage (sane-backends) 1.0.28-699-g572c5e6e; backend version 1.0.28 "sane-find-scanner" shows the correct scanner found USB scanner (vendor=0x04a9 [Canon], product=0x1913 [LiDE 300]) at libusb:001:005 "apt list libsane" shows the following result: libsane/stable,now 1.0.27-3.2 armhf [installed,automatic] So can you point me in the right direction. Which version of libsane needs to be used to get the scanner detected? Any other advice anybody could give me? Best regards Andreas
