Knowledge should include: Strong knowledge of Windows 2000/2003. Strong knowledge of IIS 5.0/6.0. Strong knowledge of hardware and software load balancing concepts. Solid understanding of front-end/back-end and multi-tiered web environments. Solid understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, WINS, MDAC, HTML, and ASP. Solid understanding of FrontPage server extensions installation, configuration, and functionality. Solid understanding of configuring web servers to connect to Oracle/SQL back-end database resources. Familiarity with FrontPage, Visual InterDev, and Visual Studio .NET editors. Familiarity with Visual SourceSafe.
