Please reply me on r...@polytera.com only *Position : Architect II * *Location : HERNDON VA* *Duration: 4 Months Description: Require a contractor to fill the position of 24x7 Operations Support for CAP Financial Reporting applications. * *The primary responsibility will be to provide shift support during the 9-Day Month End processing. * *Outside of Month End, the contractor is expected to support the GAGO Development/Test teams, maintain and resolve Infrastructure issues, develop and maintain Operational scripts /software as needed. Other Requirements: ∙ Proficient in shell scripting and Perl scripting ∙ Possess troubleshooting skills in Linux/Solaris/AIX environments. ∙ Knowledge of web services. Experience in HTTP, XML, Apache, JBoss, and Weblogic is a plus. ∙ Working knowledge of Oracle databases and applications. ∙ Sufficient knowledge of SQL commands. ∙ Knowledge in C++, Java, UI development ∙ Experience in creating tools for automation and system monitoring is a plus. ∙ Knowledge of ETL products. AbInitio is a plus. ∙ Experience in creating documentation such as Operations Guide/Standard Operational Procedures. ∙ Knowledge of/participated in system design and integration of multi-tier applications ∙ Experience in workflow/business process management products is a plus. ∙ Experience in trouble ticket systems such as Remedy. ∙ Experience in determining cost benefit, trade off analysis and risk analysis of various proposed architectures and solutions ∙ Carry a pager and respond to it in a timely manner. Provide off-hour support as needed. ∙ Be a self-starter and fast learner ∙ Well developed written and verbal communication skills. ∙ A team player.
