This individual will support the Enterprise Data Business Analysis team on monthly activities associated with production, changes needed for new releases addressing enhancements/defects, and on adhoc needs that arise in the business team's subject area. The analyst will perform reconciliation activities, execute all work within group standards, and be a critical link to manage data day-to-day. Data issue management and ongoing communication with stakeholders is expected. Dependent on releases planned, business requirements analysis, test planning, test case development, and UATinvolvement will be required. The analyst is expected to gain subject matter expertise and work to further the quality and controls in the Data Warehouse where possible. The individual will need to liaise with the data technology team and other business teams as normal business. *Must have’s: Strong understanding of data warehouse / database design, strong data analysis skills using SQL, experience working in a disciplined and detailed oriented business team, experience reconciling and validating data, and experience in the financial services industry. Demonstrated problem solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills are needed. Ability to work hands-on to determine needed business rules and transformation logic from source to target. *Background/Technology/Software: SQL queries in Oracle data warehouse environment using Rapid SQL or TOAD. Experience with Clearquest, DOORs a plus but not required.
