We are looking for *User Experience Designer - New York, NY. *This is an 5+ Months contract position*. The Hourly rate is DOE.* Kindly review it and let me know your interest. *Scope of Work* *SCOPE OF SERVICES * Client will be undergoing a redesign with a new User Experience layer as well as extensive additional functionality. A User Experience Designer is needed on the team to create and execute the design solutions, based on user-centered design principles. Responsibilities: · Work with the PM Services and Application Services teams to build and extend Client and enhance the City’s ability to provide services, foster economic development, and reduce operation costs across all public facing channels (***see specific functional tasks corresponding to this responsibility below) · Lead user experience design (information architecture and graphic interface design) development for small to complex, large-scale tasks related to the Client redesign. · Assist in the creative and administrative supervision of other User Experience Designers · Design and extend gov-related mobile applications to integrate the user experience seamlessly with existing web-based applications and further enhance city services · Participate in the exploration and conception of the Client ID and other enterprise solutions which are integral precursors to the development of the My Client and other citywide initiatives. *** Functional Tasks and Deliverables corresponding to the first responsibility above: · Work with the Business Analysis team and other team leads to develop business requirements · Translate business requirements into process/ navigational flows and user interaction models · Create wireframes. Review them with business owners and technical team and obtain approval. · Create functional specifications (including wireframe diagrams).
