Strong preference for local Chicago based people. August 1 start date. - all new Cisco equipment - 6509 switches - 7600 routers - F5 Load Balancers - ASAP for firewalls - Some of what was designed on paper was never configured - Some of what looked good designed on paper didn't work as planned - Need a local resource that can be dedicated 40 hours per week not including travel - Some of the turnups will be in the evening and, as the deadline gets closer, on the weekends - Some configuration will be done but mostly working hand-in-hand with engineers (training/guidance) - Built this MPLS network - using cisco gear - The major design and architecture is built - Taking over from another company that was supposed to install and configure - will be able to do the detail config changes if he/she needs to - will work to verify, test the final design and config - estimated 3 months - Sr Network Cisco Architect and Engineer ie..
