The successful candidate will work with the team to support the client's large domestic data network, handling support requirements and participating in project activity as required. The position is at the client's Phoenix, Arizona office location, and it has good potential for extension beyond the planned seven month duration. The responsibilities for the engineer will include:Support for ongoing network engineering requirements supporting the client's primary business activitiesParticipation in key project activities such as, perform Router/Switch Configuration review, execute Closet site surveys Document clients environments through network diagrams. Required Skills:Bachelor's degree or equivalent business experience in Computer Science or MIS requiredIdeal candidate will have 4-5 years of relevant Cisco router/switch experience Routing protocol VLANs, trunks, WAN ports, etc. Ability to configure switches via command line (config t) Routing protocol experience with EIGRP is required. Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written CCNA or CCSP or equivalent certification. *
