Role: Oracle DBA with DB2 Conversion Experience. Duration: Long Term Contract No of positions: 3 Location: Tampa FL; Basking Ridge, NJ; Fort Wayne IN Rate: $45/hr *Responsibilities include*: -Design, implement and provide all aspects of technical leadership. -Responsible for design and implementation of the ERP database. -Establishment and enforcement of coding standards and practices -Work closely with Application and Production Managers to ensure schedules and compliance. -Establishment and enforcement of Data Base Standards and practices. -Stay current with industry developments and incorporate as and when necessary. -Provide time and effort estimates as it relates to engineering effort. -Business Need: This resource will have to support a DB2 database to begin with but will then have to help convert to and support an Oracle database. *Required Skills*: -BS or BA in related fields -6-8 years overall experience as a DBA, software development and IT leadership. -Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting with the *Peoplesoft Finance ERP* -Significant prior experience working in a mainframe environment with COBOL, SQRs, JCL, PROCs, DB2, QMF/SPUFI, ENDEVOR, NDM and FTP. -Project management -Good analytical skills a must -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Strong work ethic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player -Experience in Linux, Oracle, shell scripts and Command Center -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
