In the role of a Technical lead which will work directly with the Peoplesoft ERP, Mainframe, User Community and different support teams to meet the future demands of the business. *Responsibilities include:* * * -Maintain an open line of communication with key clients to identify potential issues and to resolve any issues that might occur in a timely and efficient manner. -Ensure all key processes are completed at the appropriate time and accurately. -Investigate all abends / issues and determine the correct course of action -Coordinate the Cost Distribution and Monthly Close activities among the different Peoplesoft applications -Coordinate the running of Mini passes with the user community -Monitor overnight processes and Mini passes (abbreviated schedules) to ensure service agreements are met -Ensure all report books are completed successfully, marked correctly and meet all service agreements -Create and disseminate Cost Distribution and Close statuses -Coordinate all releases with development, release management and VIPS teams -Assist clients in the correction of errors and updating of reference tables -Make permanent and temporary schedule changes depending on the needs of the business -Receive, investigate and resolve Workbrain/Efine related inquiries -Point of contact for online, functional and batch processing issues *Required Skills:* -BS or BA in related fields -6-8 years overall experience in a production support role, software development and IT leadership. -Experience in analyzing and troubleshooting with the Peoplesoft Finance ERP -Significant prior experience working in a mainframe environment with COBOL, SQRs, JCL, PROCs, DB2, QMF/SPUFI, ENDEVOR, NDM and FTP. -ESP scheduling tool -Ability to quickly gain the trust of IT senior management, the user community and the different support groups -Project management -Good analytical skills a must -Excellent verbal and written communication skills -Strong work ethic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and a team player -Experience in Linux, Oracle, shell scripts and Command Center a plus. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "SAP BASIS" group.
