*Position:* Sr. Sharepoint Consultant *Location:* Downtown Manhattan NY *Duration:* 6 Months+ *Start Date:* ASAP * * *Responsibilities* • Evaluate HPD's business needs and document them as business requirements • Hands-on involvement in the full development cycle, including design, development, quality assurance, deployment, and documentation • Implement rich client experiences in SharePoint, developed utilizing Data View Web Parts, InfoPath forms and Query with SharePoint Designer, interacting with Web Services, Browser Forms, InfoPath Form Services, Excel Services, SQL Reporting Services, and Microsoft Project Server • Serve as a technical subject matter expert to users, customers and other team members • Plan and execute strategies to deploy version upgrades for user interfaces • Keep up with technology and interface design to help our SharePoint practice grow by constantly championing better ways to provide our clients with improved (and richer) experiences on SharePoint • Develop an approach, plan activities and estimate the level of effort that lead to meeting project objectives • Contribute to business development activities such as the development of presentations, proposals and proof of concept in MOSS 2007 * * *Job Description:* Consultant will work with HPD FTE to standardize the current implementation of Sharepoint for project management and develop new implementations for work collaboration across business units. * * * * BS in Computer Science, Engineering, and /or Information Systems or equivalent relevant experience *Required Skills:* · *5 + years Shairpoint Designer / Architect Developing and designing in Sharepoint. * · *2+ years* of experience with *Active Directory* · *2+ years* of hands on experience developing and deploying *SharePoint solutions* · 3+ years of experience with *ASP.
