*Looking for Siebel DBA* *6 Months +* *Atlanta GA* Siebel DBA for multiple client environments using Oracle products such as Siebel, OBIEE, SOA Suite, WebLogic, etc. Must have solid knowledge and experience in core DBA and Siebel 7.8 and higher DBA duties with a minimum of 5 years exp. The candidate will work with other Application DBAs to accomplish the following activities: Performance tuning Siebel with Oracle 10g databases. Identify problematic SQLs and implement optimization solutions. Analyze information to make recommendations on monitoring and performance, planning and execution of improvements. Support database and application implementation or upgrade timelines. Support all Siebel databases operational tasks in development, test and production environments. Provide detailed, accurate technical documentation and troubleshooting steps to allow Tier 1/2 response to initial problems. Candidate should have knowledge in the following areas: Proficient with Siebel 7.8 or higher in Configuration and Supporting Production Implementations. Experience in installation, configuration and support, upgrade of Oracle 9i and 10g. Thorough knowledge of the Siebel application architecture and integration with Enterprise Bus with Web Services, Workflow and Batch interfaces. DBA level experience with shell scripting, UNIX and Linux administration. Knowledge of Oracle Support processes for technical requests with Metalink. Siebel CRM implementation experience a plus. Proficient with RMAN. Experience with OBIEE is preferred. Experience in configuring/managing environments with failover/high availability requirements is a plus (load balancing, PCP, RAC, Mirrored Environments).
