*Title: * *Senior QA* *Location: **San* * Jose, CA* *Duration: 6 -12+ months* *Job Description* This position requires the candidate to work closely with the various business units, product management, and the software development team. The candidate is expected to be a self-starter and team player, a strong driver for results and continuous improvement. Responsibilities include:Assist in estimating testing efforts, planning implementations, and rolling out system changes. Actively call out and determine course of action in regards to changes that may impact overall QA timelines.Will work with other QA engineers, managers, product management, development, Operations and business unit teams to develop innovative solutions that meet market needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, realistic implementation schedules, and adherence to quality assurance goals and principles.Provide guidance to QA team, in order to make sure they are successful individually and as a team.Participate in product and technology initiatives and recommend improvements. Identify project risks and make recommendations to reduce those risks.Develop industry and product technical expertise. Will find and help fix stability/scalabili ty issues in a very time critical environment. *Job Requirements** * · OpenID Protocol experience a must · 10+ years in requirements analysis, test planning, unit and integrated test case creation, test data preparation, test execution and test status reporting for scalable, distributed, multi-tiered, fault-tolerant applications. · Solid knowledge of testing techniques to determine appropriate number of test iterations and applying risk-based testing concepts · Ability to function effectively in a fast paced environment and manage continuously changing business needs; excellent time management skills required · Experience in working closely and building a rapport with developers, product management, business sponsors, and other QA leads; strong customer/business orientation is a plus · Strong communications required (oral and written); communicate changes / impacts to QA timelines due to issues, change requests, delays, etc…effectively · Experience with developing white box test cases using JUnit or other java unit testing frameworks and strong SQL skills · Experience with programming in Java and/or C++ required · Experience with API testing REQUIRED and products in Service oriented architecture · Proactively recommend coding solutions, fix bugs, and solve problems · Must have flexible work ethic to work with offshore development and other remote QA teams. · Experience with black box and white box testing, test automationand code analysis frameworks · Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment · Strong familiarity with web technologies, financial applications, and business complexities Looking forward to your reply!!
