Description: Acts as a lead in providing application design guidance and consultation, utilizing a thorough understanding of applicable technology, tools and existing designs. Analyzes highly complex business requirements, designs and writes technical specifications to design or redesign complex computer platforms and applications. Provides coding direction to less experienced staff or develops highly complex original code. Acts as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts. Verifies program logic by overseeing the preparation of test data, testing and debugging of programs. Oversees overall systems testing and the migration of platforms and applications to production. Develops new documentation, departmental technical procedures and user guides. Leads projects, allocates and manages resources and manages the work of less experienced staff. Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees creation of or updates to and testing of the business continuation plan. Lending Business Services(LBS) is a middleware business services platform within lending . This position will serve as senior developer in LBS Framework and Event Driven Architecture (EDA) capabilities development area to be responsible for the development and support of applications with features including event-driven (pub/sub) capabilities, protocol agnostic listerners, service invocation, message routing, message auditing/logging, message transformation, service security etc. Candidates must have strong IBM MQ Series background and PUB/SUB understanding. Must have JAVA / J2EE and Web Services development background, in-depth understanding of SOA architecture, Event Driven Architecture. Major responsibilities include: .Design/document implementation options for a flexible middleware framework with event driven capabilities .Support applications using IBM MQ and PUB/SUB features. Testing/Profiling application for Performance issues/Stress tests. . Infrastructure architecture/Implementation using IBM MQ Series or Active MQ. Resource will focus on the following areas: Event driven capabilities and infrastructure. Topic-based pub/sub capabilities with MQ7. Administrative understanding of MQ PUB/SUB and governance. Service and queue registration capabilities with MQ7 Governance. Service registry and repository through MQ7 Queue monitoring and administration capabilities. Initial setup and ongoing maintenance of the PUB/SUB infrastructure - creating, monitoring and supporting publishers/subscribers etc. *Qualifications:* At least 7 years IT experience including strong web services development on a J2EE platform with architecture/design and development expertise in Core Java, J2EE, JMS and MQ Messaging, PUB/SUB, Java Web Services, Java Design Patterns, XML, XSLT, Weblogic, WebSphere or Apache Tomcat. Experience with Event Driven Architecture and SOA design pattern with performance testing/monitoring and tuning J2EE applications. Experience with various tools including ActiveMQ, Apache Camel is a plus. Ability to solve problems and grasp concepts quickly.
