Analyst Developer for a contract position in Stamford, CT. The candidate will need to have excellent development skills ideally with experience with Front Office trading technology. The aim will be to provide quality C# solutions to the trading business. The role will require the candidate to utilize a detailed knowledge of derivatives trading as well as have *experience with the FIX messaging protocol.* Some out of hours support will be required due to the Global nature and therefore flexibility is a key necessity. This role is for a Developer, and is part of the development team that is tasked with building scalable trading solutions that support business growth while improving effeciency and contorls. The successful candidate will: Participate in the design and development of a strategic technology Work closely with business analysts through the entire development cycle (analysis, design, measure, build and deployment) to ensure user satisfaction. Strive to build scalable solutions Identify and resolve defects Essential Experience Solid skills using C#, XML, SQL Server and Excel are required. Good SQL skills specifically schema and query design. Import and export data in various formats from various sources.
