Title : SAP Netweaver Administrator Location : Kansas City, MO Duration : Long Term Project * * *Project Description: * Support the Data Strategy and Integration activities for large government SAP implementation. *Requirements* Possesses 10 years hands on experience with administrating SAP ECC, CRM, BI, Portal, PI, MDM in a large-sized environment. Prior working knowledge and experience in installation, administration, and management of SAP ECC, CRM, BI, Portal, PI, MDM systems. Prior strong work experience in setting up and managing ABAP, JAVA and ABAP+JAVA (dual stack) systems. Proven work experience in hardware sizing of memory, storage, network, virtualization; setting up the hosting environment for SAP applications and in supporting the landscapes of SAP ECC, CRM, BI, Portal, PI, MDM throughout the lifecycle. Extremely important to have skills on translating requirements to hardware requirements and suggest a timeline for the successful installation of hardware, SAP software and configuration of the system. Working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager, Computing Center Management Services (CCMS) and System Landscape Directory (SLD). Should have hands on experience on maintaining Dual Stack systems and undertaking performance tuning to support stress testing. Ability to manage new SAP systems and/or instance creation/copy or installation. Demonstrate strong SAP NetWeaver administration and technical core competencies tasks including SAP software installation, upgrade, applying Support Packages, installation add-on software components, SAP profile parameter changes, workload analysis, system error analysis, performance tuning and establishing standard NetWeaver background jobs and system health checks and monitoring. Responsible for the technical performance characteristics of an SAP environment (environments include Sandbox, Development, QA and Production), including network, database, and application server performance. Provides technical and analytical guidance to department staff members and recommends and/or takes action to direct the analysis and solutions to problems. Communicates with SAP developers, help desk support personnel to resolve system issues. Performance Monitoring, Problem resolution during development, rollout and production support. Utilizing Change Management, Transporting objects between environments within SAP landscapes. Responsibility for 24x7 SAP NetWeaver/Operations application administration activities, designing and implementing application system solutions across company SAP technical landscape. Creating complex conceptual designs (including application interfaces and interactions). Planning and managing program-wide application build, test and deploy activities. Planning and establishing after go-live activities including ongoing application support. Working with vendors to resolve Hardware and Software problems * * *Education:* BS degree in math, computer science, business/MIS, or related job experience. Must have SAP NetWeaver Administration certification and Oracle DBA certification. Must have ITIL Foundation Certification for either ITIL v.2 or v.3.
