Job Title: Project Manager with Share Point Location: Manhattan,NY Duration: 6 months Contract Client: MetLife Job Descritpion: Sharepoint 2010 and Intranet knowledge is a must. Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office Suite. Project manager to assist with two large SharePoint projects; global intranet launch and the next generation intranet and collaboration project. The project manager will be responsible to keep the project on track and running smoothly. Assist in testing and releases of new enhancements to the platform. This role will report into the Director of Global Intranet and Collaboration at Metlife. The projects are expected to run until year end. Below are some addition responsibilities of the role: Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities. Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project and scope. Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards. Minimizes our exposure and risk on project. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Schedules calls and meetings for the team Tracks and reports expenses on a Monthly basis Assists with managing the project budget. Ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project.
