*Please send Resume to **amit...@usgrpinc.com* <amit...@usgrpinc.com> *Scrum Master* *Austin, TX* *5 month contract with strong possibility for extensions* *Formal Job Description:* *Responsibilities:* - Coordinates GIS projects, including well spotting/RBA, viewers, pipeline and open records/maintenance teams - Improve product owner(s) backlog and release plan maintenance - Encourage the team(s) to be in the state of flow, and focused on sprint goals - Facilitate Test Driven Development by the team(s) - Help remove organizational impediments - Drafts and distributes project team status reports - Conducts monthly GIS core team status meetings - Coordinates creation and review of DIR-required project documentation - Creates and maintains project schedule - Provides thorough and timely updates to core team members and sponsors regarding project status - Provides timely transparency to project issues and risks - Facilitates Risk Management Team/Risk Identification Team meetings - Assists other projects as necessary with GIS integration - Coordinates monthly GIS demos for core team members and project sponsors - Assists with QA and UAT testing planning - Coordinates completion of project documentation by project team members (SDD, User Guide, Web Help, SRS) - Responds to project-related inquires (reports, assessments, etc.) - Educates GIS core team members regarding ITS processes (change management, maintenance requests, production release agreement) - Solicit feedback/generate lessons learned regarding classroom training, demos, and project *Required Qualifications, Skillsets and Abilities:* - Understand basic fundamentals of software development processes and procedures - Understand backlog tracking, burndown metrics, velocity, and task definition - Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices - Must be able to lead and demonstrate value-add principles to a team - Must be able to ensure Agile/Scrum concepts and principles are adhered to, must be able to be a voice of reason and authority, make the tough calls. - Experience working with GIS tools and applications such as ESRI’s ArcMap, ArcCatalog, and ArcGIS Server preferred - Knowledge of GIS data structures, including topology, and best practices for editing GIS data preferred *Thanks & Warm Regards,* *AMIT BAJPAI,* *United Software Group Inc.* <http://www.usgrpinc.com/images/usg_logo.jpg> * 565 Metro Place S.
