Description Of Services: Job Responsibilities As a critical and central contributor to the development of Enterprise Application solutions, assume the following responsibilities: Stay up to date with industry and application trends in one or more of the following areas: Finance, Renewals and Professional services Manage requirements analysis for application implementations as well as for software development projects. Identify, author, and prioritize user stories including detailed description of expected behavior for proposed new features. Perform proactive and strategic problem solving while considering cross product, cross lines of business impact of design/decisions. Understand our end-users’ business personas and drivers in order to design highly usable and intuitive solutions. Review and provide input on design and implementation for major feature enhancements. Participate in design meetings with developers to scope out implementation of features. Determine high-level acceptance criteria to feed into the QA process; validate features via manual testing to check for completeness and accuracy. Prepare development/QA project plans, including milestones and timeline for delivery; determine risks and contingency plans. As appropriate for the product, coordinate releases with other internal departments. Troubleshoot issues as needed to support deployed solutions. Identify data quality and process issues and make recommendations for remediation. Lead and perform impact analyses. Oversee and provide guidance to 3rd party vendor for outsourced development / managed services. Qualifications Requirements 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst supporting more than one business function related to Order to Cash, Pricing, Planning and Budgeting, Incentive Compensation, Renewals and Professional Services. Understanding of the software development cycle. Experience with Agile development methodologies is highly preferred. Understanding of the capabilities and constraints of an established ERP system (Oracle E-business Suite preferred) with solid understanding of related business processes. Understanding and experience working with SaaS applications (Zuora, OpenAir, SalesForce, Anaplan/ Adaptive Planning) or other financial enterprise applications like Hyperion and Synygy is a plus. Understanding of Financial processes and performance reporting. Knowledge and experience in Revenue Recognition scenarios and business rules is a plus Experience working with Vertex/EB Tax, Oracle Workflow, AME is a plus Experience in deploying e-commerce, external customer facing solutions is a plus Experience integrating ERP applications with other internal systems and SaaS applications Experience working with 3rd party vendor as extension of core team. Understanding and experience in solutions servicing the Software or Financial Industry is a plus. Demonstrated project planning and management skills with strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are required. Strong business skills and ability to quickly understand business processes. Ability to apply troubleshooting and analytic skills when resolving problems.
