*Position : **Web Developer (J2EE)* *Location : **Jersey city NJ* *Duration : long term* The Web Developer on the Web Development team will be responsible for the following: · Designing, developing, testing and implementing solutions for the Calvin Klein website · Assist management in the prioritization and planning of work. · Support the Calvin Klein website · Documentation of changes including functional, technical specifications, and test plans as · needed. *SKILLS IN THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES ARE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE: * · Java Programming Language Groovy or equivalent, Web Application Framework Grails or · equivalent, J2EE platform, Application Servers (Glassfish or equivalent), ORM Frameworks (Hibernate or equivalent) · XML, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, CSS 2/3 · Knowledgeable with Design Patterns · Basic knowledge of SQL · Operating Systems (Client): Windows 7, WindowsXP, Mac OS X; Operating Systems (Server): Windows 2003 SP2, Windows 2008 · Browsers: IE 7/8/9, Safari 3.x+, Firefox 3.x+ · CMS/WCM (e.g., Interwoven) & SCM (e.g., PVCS, Visual SourceSafe) · Social Media Application Development: IDE & SDK's for Facebook, Twitter · Javascript Frameworks (e.g., Jquery) *EXPERIENCE WITH THE FOLLOWING TECHNOLOGIES IS NOT REQUIRED, BUT PREFERRED: * · SOAP/Web Services, Active Directory, Citrix Server · Build and Integration Tool (e.g., Ant, Maven, etc.) · HTML5, Ajax, Flash CS3+ · SQL Server (2005/2008/2012) or Oracle · Virtual Machines (e.g., VMWare) · Media Players: RealPlayer, QuickTime, Windows Media Player, Flash Player, 3rd Party Players (e.g., Ooyala, Brightcove) · OOAD/UML (Methodology & Tools) · Other Browsers (Chrome 8.x) *PROFESSIONAL AND EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: * · Bachelor’s Degree in programming/systems or computer science, specialized training, Java · certification, or equivalent work experience required. · 2-3 years applications development and support experience including 1-2 plus years practical · experience developing websites using the J2EE framework, Java and Oracle DB Server (i.e. · stored procedures, PL-SQL, triggers, advanced queries). · Experience developing functional and technical specifications, test plans and test cases in · support of unit and system testing, using disciplined SDLC and Change Management · methodologies. · Experience with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting applications issues · Experience in preparing and presenting status updates for assigned tasks/projects · Demonstrate excellence in documentation and communication skills · Demonstrate a sense of urgency, thoroughness and quality towards assigned tasks/goals · Strong analytical skills. · Ability to quickly handle shifting priorities and work towards agreed upon goals and target dates. · Apparel industries experience a plus.
