*Peoplesoft Developer*



Requirement for a PS developer is to build an Application Engine (AE) to
load Point of Sale punch data into PS_TL_RPTD_TIME. Data will already
reside within PeopleSoft via the POS to TIBCO load into a staging table in
PeopleSoft. The AE will be replacing the delivered ST_LOADER program and
must setup the punch time data the way Reported time requires it.

The AE program will replace 2 or 3 other custom programs and will have its
own error handling. This process will apply logic according to the business
rules to create valid records out of error records. There will be no error
reports or log files. Program will provide audit records and use online
grid pages for HR Direct to review and correct errors or exceptions.

Additionally, a new interface to load a separate brand’s punch time into
PeopleSoft will be required. This will be an interface that the load
program will use to process the brand’s data into Reported Time.

Resource will need to have very strong AE, technical design, unit test, and
communication skills to build this program and interact with the Time and
Labor rules developer to ensure that the new punch time data results are
accurate.

Skills Required: *PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 all modules,* PeopleSoft Tools, App
Designer. Good understanding of using page grids and audit records in place
of reports or logs. 3 - 5 years of experience in PeopleSoft environment.
Thorough understanding and experience with PeopleSoft development tools,
specifically PeopleTools 8.48 App Designer, PeopleCode, App Engine, CI and
SQR language. Fluent with Oracle SQL. *Strong understanding of specialty
retail concepts and processes*. Knowledge of table structures of PeopleSoft
T&L. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Excellent
written/oral communication skills. Understanding of retail data flow,
including POS to PeopleSoft integration. Responsibilities: •Complete
technical design for a load program to process punch time data into
PS_TL_RPTD_TIME.

•Compete development of program, including all error handling for the punch
time load program.

•Complete technical design and development for an interface of flat file
punch time data into PeopleSoft.

•Support with configuration scripts as needed.

•Support with Job Data PeopleCode changes as needed due to changes in
Workgroup logic.

•Thorough unit test of the developed programs.

•Defect resolution of defects experienced in Unit Test, Functional
Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, Parallel Test, and Performance
Test.

•Production support.

•Facilitate discussion with technical resources to translate functional
business requirements into technical design solutions.

•Ensures successful delivery of requested work products.

•Communicates key milestones for assigned activities and manages planning
and delivery of assignments.

•Understands key software product development concepts including user group
meeting facilitation, software development, project management, quality
assurance, and software version control.
