Duties & Responsibilites :	The person in this position should have a strong working knowledge of the concepts, methodologies, techniques and tools of business analysis and system development, and have in-depth knowledge of how and when to put them to use.  The person in this position can select and adapt, where necessary, appropriate tools and support their use by a team.  The person in this position is expected to participate in the advancement of systems delivery concepts, methodologies, techniques and tools.  The person in this position demonstrates abstract thinking, viewing and explaining multiple perspectives, problem solving, planning, interviewing, writing and documentation. The position requires strong oral communication skills and the ability to work with and facilitate interactions with diverse groups and individuals.  The position requires the ability to prioritize workloads and the ability to analyze procedures, processes and policies. The person in this position must have experience in business process reengineering for improving business performance and implementation of new applications, business process improvement, strategic and business planning, communicating business concepts to technical audiences, communicating technical concepts to business audiences, business outcome thinking, problem solving, decision making, team management, leadership and facilitation.   Additionally, this person must be able to work independently and make appropriate decisions based on knowledge of project and staff.   This is a multi-faceted position demanding research, analysis, writing and other communication skills. A person in this position must be able to carry out multiple assignments with little direction and design and complete projects independently. A person in this position must also be able to communicate clearly and concisely.   A person in this position must have skill in oral and written communication, critical thinking, and office automation tools, e.g., Word, MS Access, Excel, and PowerPoint. A person must have the ability to facilitate groups of people and establish effective working relationship with others. This position requires project management as well as business analyst knowledge and experience, which includes a robust understanding of; project management methodologies and timelines, business analyst methodologies, and system development life cycles.   In depth knowledge and experience in current industry best practices and tools in the field of Business Analysis.
