| Duties & Responsibilites : | Responsibilities: Project Lead/Management Role as a member of a PMO for the State's new Integrated Eligibility System - managing specific agency's participation in SDLC activities (i.e. Requirements Analysis, JAD, Testing, Training, and Implementation) Acting as Point of Contact with Vendor and other State agencies Organizing project artifacts, reports, correspondences, and other pertinent information for ongoing management of project and conflict mitigation Manage Agency resources, participation, attendance, decision making, escalation, etc. for SDLC tasks Skills: Ability to manage a diverse group of people in multiple organizations; Ability to articulate statuses, issues and adherence to project schedules; Demonstrated writing skills; RFP's, proposals, project management plans, detail designs, etc. Knowledge of industry best practices in project management or quality management services within the healthcare arena; Three years of experience and expertise in quality management and assurance of large-scale system development projects, preferably for governmental entities; Two years major project ($30M or greater) implementation experience as member of a PMO; Two years of experience with project management or quality management tools; IT background: 2+ years in an IT position Experience in Agile Project Management, system development, system testing and ongoing operations, including but not limited to planning Joint Application Design (JAD) sessions, preparing JAD materials, training JAD participants, conducting and documenting JAD sessions, and managing User Acceptance testing PMP Certification preferred Experience in Health and Human Services applications strongly preferred - i.e. Eligibility, Medicaid |
