| Duties & Responsibilites : | -Working closely with clients, business analysts and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
-Involved in the full systems life cycle including designing, coding, testing, implementing and supporting application software products.
-Responsible for supporting the selection and implementation of packaged solutions.

Required Skills:
-Knowledge of system analysis, design, programming principles
-Knowledge of _javascript_, _vbscript_, CSS, HTML and DHTML, VB, Ajax, JAVA, C++, Natural, COBOL, CICS, JCL and other programming languages.
-Knowledge of MS SQL, ADABAS, VSAM and Oracle.
-Knowledge of Visual Studio 2003 or higher.
-Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) concepts.
-Knowledge of release, change, configuration and incident management.
-Knowledge of standard integration tools and methodology.
-Knowledge of developing and maintaining interactive forms.
-Knowledge of Adobe LiveCycle Enterprise Suite, Microsoft SharePoint Designer Workflow or InfoPath 2003 in support of forms development.
-Knowledge of enterprise document management systems
-Skill in identifying and solving system and application problems.
-Skill in coordinating work projects.
-Skill in providing technical assistance.
-Skill in preparing data structures, flowcharts, and logic flow diagrams.
-Skill in applying migration procedures.
-Skill in documenting system design and programming procedures.

-Skill in responding to Disaster Backup and Recovery situations.
-Skill in training groups on web standards and website programming.
-Skill in training groups on e-Forms standards and programming.

-Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with City staff and the general public.
