| Duties & Responsibilites : | The Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management.
-Participates in Database Management System selection and maintains database performance.
-Knowledge of various Database Management System products.
-Provide status of work to Project Team Lead.
-Engage in ongoing process improvement.
- The Contractor will be tasked with continuing the process of migrating the existing E Business suite environments to a new physical storage structure that is in line with Oracle best practices.
-The Contractor will rework the existing environment cloning procedures and create process documentation to enable more efficient and less error prone cloning procedures using Oracle best practices.
-These cloning procedures will assist in creating test environment in a timely manner in the future in support of development, testing, and patching procedures.
- The third objective is for the Contractor to work with and train existing company Oracle database staff in proper patching procedures for the Oracle E Business suite environment.
- The final objective for this resource is to re-architect and migrate the existing Production and UAT E Business suite environments to a high availability and disaster recovery solution that closely matches that of the projects database and supporting project applications
-The Database Administrator is responsible for data analysis and database management.
-Database Administrators typically are involved in maintenance, enhancement, designing of data dictionaries, physical and logical database models, and performance tuning.
-Database Administrators have a range of DatabaYears of Relevant Experience: 7 plus years
Preferred Education:
-4 year college degree or equivalent technical study
REQUIRED SKILLS:
-Planning physical and logical design of Oracle EBusiness Suite instances Required 5 Years
-Cloning Oracle EBusiness Suite instances for testing purposes Required 5 Years
-Patching Oracle Ebusiness Suite Required 5 Years
-Oracle Ebusiness Suite Required 5 Years
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
In Person
-Experience with E-Business Suite Migration Required 5 Years
-Experience mentoring / training team members on process and best practices Required 1 Years
-IBM AIX 64 OS Required
-Develop technical design documents Required
-Troubleshoot data related issues, fixing bugs & issues with concurrent programs Required
-Experience with E-Bus F12 Financial systems upgrades/patching. Specifally, General Ledger. Required
