-Demonstrate a strong understanding of SDLC processes and be able to adapt to varying conditions unique to ongoing efforts.
-Be able to provide detailed analysis of problems and recommend solutions to audiences of varying technical background.
-Apply innovation, creativity and improvement to the development process and problem-solving.
-Promote and advance team's best practices such as unit testing and peer reviews.
-Provide high-quality support for various applications and be proactive in keeping applications stable and reliable.
-A sense of customer-satisfaction is key for an ideal candidate.

-Good handle on influence and persuasion to help gain consensus and meet target milestones

Qualifications:
-4 year degree in Computer Science or related experience
-Able to interpret business requirements and programming specifications to write C# components, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)/ Web Services and Windows Services in C#
-Intimate knowledge of object-oriented design principles and common design patterns.
-Intimate knowledge of highly performing web based trading systems and vehicles such as Equities/Mutual Funds/Options  MLOs
-Excellent verbal/written communication skills
-Ability to work in a cross-team environment and ensure strong collaboration
-Ability to work on aggressive schedules. May require work beyond normal hours (weekends or evenings)Technical Skills
-5-7 years of programming experience using C# and the Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 frameworks.
-Experience with Generics, Collections, Regular Expressions, delegates, object serialization and multi-threads is preferred.
-Familiar with XML, XSL, HTML and CSS. Able to write applications that manipulate XML using the .NET framework.
-Experience with FIX Protocol and/or a strong understanding of APPIA FIX Engine
-Knowledgeable of SQL Server service broker Queue and ADO .NET / other Data Access methodologies to get data from SQL Server 2005/2008/2012.
-Knowledge of T-SQL to investigate data issues.
-Confer with system analysts, managers, technical personnel and customers to resolve problems of intent, inaccuracy or feasibility, output requirements, input data acquisition, coding use and modifications and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
-Experience with Windows desktop operating systems and Windows Server 2003 / 2008 management and application trouble-shooting, including IIS 6.0 / 7.0.
-Experience in the brokerage industry/financial background experience is a plus# of Years Required:
-5-7 years of programming experience using C# and the Microsoft .NET 2.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5 frameworks.

Required Skills:
-Must have FIX protocol experience and possibly even current.
-Trading Domain is preferred.
-Equities, Options, MFs, Block Trading.
-Good communication skills. The person will not be a lead, but will have direct contact with business/QA teams.
-Strong .Net experience is almost assumed here.
-Sense of software quality and how to ensure successful design/delivery.
