Position: EDI Specialist Qty: 1 Location: SC Rate-: $20/Hr Duration: 6-months open-ended 110% Interview Description: . Create and modify EDI maps using GXS Application Integrator. . Interview business process owners to document existing data integration flows. . Perform analysis and determine changes required to migrate existing process to the new EDI application. . Develop and document new application work flow processes. . Develop and/or modify shell programs used to integrate data between various systems and applications. . Perform and document functional and integration testing with EDI mappings and EDI workflow processes. . Setup and maintain trading partner configuration within the EDI Application. . Write and publish EDI specifications. . Perform various aspects of project management, i.e. maintaining project plans, management reporting, conduct meetings. b) Experience: 4+ years of technical experience in Information Technology 4+ year of technical experience with Electronic Data Interchange Process/project management experience or training/certifications (preferred). e) Knowledge/Skills/Abilities : Basic = less than 1 year of experience/training needed; Intermediate = 1-3 years of experience/some training may be needed; Advanced = 3-5 years experience/no training needed; Expert = 5+ years experience/able to train others. Expert knowledge of information system concepts and technologies. Advanced project management and proven leadership skills. Advanced written and oral communication and presentation skills. Advanced ability to interface with the business to meet requirements and targets. Advanced MS Office skills including but not limited to MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel Advanced knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
