Use technical expertise to resolve issues and restore service following system failures and outages . Maintain software currency and vendor support by installing preventive maintenance and release upgrades . Install corrective service as necessary to resolve problems or as prerequisites for upgrades or other projects . Enhance system stability and performance by exploiting new function enabled by software upgrades . Utilize vendor publications, web sites, and other documentation to install and support their products on DHL systems. . Manage and resolve HPSD incident, event, and problem records . Manage, initiate, and perform system changes, using the RFC process . Lead or participate in major IT project activities . Maintain license codes for program products . Use technical expertise to act as consultant and advisor to IT Leadership, Project Managers, Frontline Operations, Solutions Support, and . Application Development . Create, revise, review and enhance Operational Procedures and other documentation used by the Service Desk, Frontline Operations, MTS, . Solutions Support, or other groups . Write or revise exits and other programs to implement or facilitate system related functions .
