Description:
Our client is in need of a Senior ABAP Developer for a 3 month contract in
this phase. There is a strong possibility (and desire as funding is approved)
for this Senior ABAP Developer's contract to extend as the phases of
Implementation move forward. The ideal candidate will have 8-9 years of IT
experience and 6+ years of ABAP experience. NO travel is required for this
position
. Responsibilities:
o Assist in the RICEF and workflow
o Help process the information coming in from the business, ensuring the
quality is good enough to take into technical specs
o Help with estimations and planning.
o Involved in reviewing and setting standards for the project
o Help mentor current staff
. Minimum Skills Required
o ABAP Standard - Basic Programming
o R/3 Architecture & Programming Basics
o Workbench Expertise (Screen Painter, Menu Painter. etc.)
o Dictionary Usage (not necessarily Table/View maintenance.. DB group
will do this)
o Reports / Dialogs (Selection Screens, Function Modules, Transactions
etc.)
o Performance Analysis/Tuning (SQL-Trace, RunTime Analalysis..etc.)
o Modularization
o Forms / SAPScript
o Enhancements (exits)
o SAP Query
. Advanced Concepts
o Interface Technologies (BDC / ALE / EDI / JCO / BAPI / RFC .etc.)
o ALV Grids
o Controls Framework
o BADI
o Methodology / Other
o Tech Spec Development
o Test Plan Development
o Interface Design
o Mentoring Skills
. Leading Edge Skills Desired
o ABAP Certification (if they have this, then most of above are included)
o ABAP Objects
