Position: UNIX/Linux Performance Monitoring
Start Date: October 3, 2011 (approx.)
Duration: 6+ months
Location: Albany, NY
Experience level: 7+ years
Perform monitoring of infrastructure and applications using monitor software
such as Tivoli. Configure infrastructure alerts; investigate/troubleshoot
abnormal conditions within the environment; lead other technical groups and
application support teams to resolve abnormal events. Track system capacity
and performance.
MANDATORY EXPERIENCE
*Experience working in Information Technology.*
*Experience working on UNIX/Linux servers.*
*Experience with performance monitoring and/or event alerting software;
preferably IBM Tivoli products.***
