Location: Des Moines, IA
Duration: 1 Year
Title: Teradata DBA
The Data base administrator must meet the following requirements:
1. Have 5+ years of experience in complex queries to manage data from
various sources using tools appropriate with Teradata database
administration including BTEQ, MultiLoad, FastLoad, Teradata SQL and
FastExport.
2. Proficient in database design in a complex data structure residing
on Teradata version 12.0 or higher.
3. Proven experience in maintaining and supporting a case manager
system.
4. Have 5+ years of experience in developing and using Business
Objects Universe Designer and Reporter tools in a repository
environment. Client currently supports in excess of 900 Business
Objects reports. Individual must be able to maintain and enhance
reports for tax compliance activities.
5. Knowledgeable in development of test plans/test records for use in
executing unit and system testing.
6. Have detailed knowledge of the IBM mainframe environment (ISPF,
TSO, JCL).
7. Have basic skills to set up Microsoft Access queries via linked
tables.
Highly Desirable Skill:
1. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate knowledge of
tax compliance program development
Additionally, the individual selected must meet the following
requirements:
1. Possess strong business writing and interpersonal skills necessary
for customer contact.
2. Be able to complete multiple programming assignments in a timely
manner (perform work as assigned).
3. Must pass background security investigation.
Maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers, supervisors,
and customers
