Please have a look at the below position and let me know if this is something you would be interested in. * * *Posting Title: Web Developer*** *Location: Washington, DC* *Duration: 6 Months. * *Banking Systems Applications Developer (Web Developer)* *Skill Set*: •Must have skills to use and manage programs associated with the Finance Department Integrated Banking System environment. •Extensive experience in Web development/technologies (particularly in .NET). •Should have experience in developing applications with Oracle as back-end and Web technologies as front-end. •Should know PL/SQL very well and if required build logic in PL/SQL. •Should be a fast learner and have an aptitude to learn other technologies (e.g. Business Objects, Data Warehousing, IBM Datastage) used in the team. •Should be a team player and prior experience in financial and accounting applications is a plus. *Experience & Education:* •8 plus Years •Bachelors in EE, CS, Math or Related Field *Functions*: •Interacts with customers in refining requirements, producing technical designs and resolving problems and support issues. •Prepares feasibility studies of potential systems including new technology assessments. •Designs overall systems architecture and provides complex specifications. •Instructs and coordinates activities of assigned Application Developers and other professional staff. •Provides technical liaison with external consultants and contractors. •Consults with internal clients and users. •Prepares project time and cost estimates. •Leads post-implementation and ROI analyses. •May perform project management functions such as project plan development and user requirements definition. * * *Knowledge * •Requires detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the IMF’s business objectives. •Excellent knowledge of and extensive experience developing applications in a variety of programming languages, operating systems and computer platforms. •Expert and comprehensive functional knowledge of financial banking systems. •Expert knowledge of emerging tools and technologies and their application. •Familiarity with the technologies used by the team is important: Flexcube, Oracle PL/SQL, Business Objects, Datastage, Java, C++, .NET. * * *Ability* •Ability to work in and potentially lead a group. •Able to effectively communicate with peers and subordinates and IMF management both verbally and in writing. •Ability to work with clients, vendors, and management to obtain outstanding results. •Ability to analyze and manage multiple complex projects.
