The successful candidate will assist in the coordination and completion of
team responsibilities while serving as a subject matter expert. When
appropriate, this position will assist in process improvement initiatives
including the validation of documented IS Security processes and tracking
the completion of any needed updates.
*Responsibilities*:
- Coordination and collection of data used in external and internal
audits
- Validation and process improvement for collected data
- Write and analyze MS-SQL queries correlating multiple data feeds
- Determine the root causes from data analysis
- Document and present proposals for remediation efforts Remediation of
Findings
- Tracking remediation of audit exceptions
*Requirements:*
- A minimum of five years of experience is required in information
security (or a comparable position) at the organizational level in a
professional environment.
- Must have strong experience in event correlation, writing and
analyzing MS-SQL queries.
- Strong research and analytical skills are necessary.
- Demonstrated sound judgment and ability to work in a team environment
with minimum supervision and direction is required.
- Working knowledge of common information security tools and best
practices is required.
- Must have proven analytical and technical skills to be able to devise
new and adapt existing methods, techniques, and procedures to meet specific
requirements.
- Verbal, written, and listening skills are required.
- Proven leadership, mentoring and team development skills required.
