Hi! I've done this so far... Still not getting to work. But I've discovered some interesting things:
1) From another NT machine, and I can get Catalina + SapDB working fine (no need to setup catalina.policy!!!); 2) From NT workstation I can nmapnt -sS -P0 10.0.0.253, and SapDB ports are shown; 3) From Linux box, I can nmap -sS -P0 10.0.0.253, but only few ports are shown (SapDB aren't). May be this a issue related to SP6a? Someone has experiencing this type of trouble? I've checked, and my TCP/IP protocol on NT are not enabled with IP Security. Did you mean you always use the IP-number and a connect with the hostname is not possible? If so, your connect-url should contain the IP-number instead of the hostname. > new Connection 'jdbc:sapdb://server-2/ECONET' Please try: 'jdbc:sapdb://<IP NUMBER>/ECONET' Regards, Marco ---------------------------------------------- Marco PASKAMP SAP DB, SAP Labs Berlin _______________________________________________ sapdb.general mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://listserv.sap.com/mailman/listinfo/sapdb.general
