Hi! Thanks to all the people on the world that sen't me your tips about this
configuration.
By now I've discovered the problem: It's not Linux, nor NT, nor IPChains.
It's about Apache+Catalina throught Warp Connector.
I really needed to set JDBCRealm configuration inside <Engine> section of
Warp configuration (not default engine!!!).
If anyone on the future need to know about this, feel free to send me one
e-mail.

Again, very thanks to all,

Hi!
I've done this so far...
Still not getting to work.

But I've discovered some interesting things:

1) From another NT machine, and I can get Catalina + SapDB working fine (no
need to setup catalina.policy!!!);
2) From NT workstation I can nmapnt -sS -P0 10.0.0.253, and SapDB ports are
shown;
3) From Linux box, I can nmap -sS -P0 10.0.0.253, but only few ports are
shown (SapDB aren't).

May be this a issue related to SP6a? Someone has experiencing this type of
trouble?
I've checked, and my TCP/IP protocol on NT are not enabled with IP Security.

Thanks,

Did you mean you always use the IP-number and a connect with the hostname is
not possible? If so, your connect-url should contain the IP-number instead
of the hostname.

Please try:  'jdbc:sapdb://<IP NUMBER>/ECONET'
