Well it's been 5 days on channel and a few thoughts... 1) It would probably be worthwhile to have a page on satchmoproject.com explaining how to ask for help. Something along the lines of...
Telling us you have a problem is useless. Telling us that you have a problem, what that problem is, and what set of instructions you are using are useful. IE "I was able to download satchmo, and I followed the install guide at ... and at step ... I got completely lost." or "I need to override form A with my customized form B." Those of us on IRC have real jobs and are not available 24x7 like &bigsoftwarecompany on line support. If noone responds within a few minutes, try the google group. We expect your clue to be atleast this >< big. If your clue is not that big, the following consultants are here to help in exchange for $$$$. 2) Someone that can obtain ops on the IRC channel should set the topic and include a URL to the page in #1 On Nov 5, 11:31 am, Michael Trinque <[email protected]> wrote: > Everyone reading this, please set #satchmo to autojoin in your IRC > client.
