Think of an environment where you have ftp access to the main site
folder, but not to the python directory. I may end up with more
flexibility than this, but right now I'm assuming not.

Basically, I'm talking about having the code for the non-already-
installed packages (like satchmo itself) uploaded to the folder with
the site code, rather than installed in the python folder on the
server.  I'm trying to get a feel for how feasible this sort of
restructuring is.  I mean, at some level this is all python code, so
it should be able to run in one place as well as another, right?
