OK, I think I've figured it out. PayPal does not allow your discount to be equal to the combined prices of the items in your cart. I was discounting the entire item price, leaving only shipping. If discount less than the total item price, this works, including the patch I reapplied. I am still curious as to why that patch no longer makes an appearance in the files. Sorry for the confusion here. Does anyone know how to provide a total item discount on PayPal, leaving only shipping?
