I finally went into the Merchant Account PayPal account and found where you can specify/edit a notification IPN URL. I put in http://www.myipaddress.com/checkout/paypal/ipn/ then tried another purchase for .01 but my inventory levels were not adjusted at all. I was pretty sure that was it but obviously I was wrong. I'm using an IP address because I didn't want to go and purchase a domain name until I can get this working, not sure if that has anything to do it, my guess is *no*.
I did go over to my PayPal Sandbox and tried the URL http://www.myipaddress.com/checkout/paypal/ipn/ and it said it was successful. After all I've done here, does anyone else see anything else I need to do. Obviously I'm missing something here. If the notification URL is correct then I think it's now something on my end, something in code or in the /admin section.
