Hello all, I've just had another frustrating experience trying to set up an account with Google Checkout. I can't get past the screen where they ask for details about my business -- their web site bounces me to an unhelpful error screen. I reported this once before and got no response. They don't give out a customer-service phone number. If this is any indication of the quality of their service, I don't want to subject my customers to it. So I'm giving up on Google Checkout for my shop.
I'm going to use PayPal as one payment option, but I'd like to offer my customers at least one more, since I know that some people dislike PayPal. (Collecting billing information on my own site is ruled out for compliance and other reasons.) Can anyone recommend Authorize.net or TrustCommerce or any of the other payment processing services, from experience using them in your own shop?
