I've worked with autorize.net before, but that was using groovy/grails. However, it worked rather well and was simple.
I've also used Paypal and even wrote a custom satchmo processor for it that met our specific needs. But the last one I've worked with was Braintree. (I believe thats, www.braintreepaymentgateway.com). I haven't plugged that into Django yet, but I want to try at some point. I like what they do and they have this TransparentRedirect method for making payments where you really don't have to worry about doing much of anything other than pass customer information to them.
